Congratulations to Martingrove Baseball’s

IRENE CULLUM

2021 Recipient of the EBA Lifetime Achievement Award
In recognition of her Continuous Volunteer Years of Service
within the Etobicoke Baseball Association

Most of our current and former players, parents, coaches, volunteers and community members know and appreciate Irene as she has been a volunteer with Martingrove Baseball and the EBA for over 25 years. In 1994, as young parents of 5-year-old Shanna, she and her husband, Martingrove’s President Gary Cullum, began coaching T-Ball. Although Shanna decided early on to pursue other sports, Irene and Gary continued on as executive members of Martingrove Baseball.

Over the past many years Irene has officially been the league’s treasurer but her contributions to the league’s operation continue to exceed that title as she does so much more! If any one of us haa a question about schedules, fields, equipment, rules, the EBA, the OBA and just about anything else…who do we call? IRENE! Over the years she has spent a lot fo personal time attending meetings with the EBA, speaking for Martingrove Baseball and the betterment of the sport in Etobicoke and Ontario.

All of us on the executive board would like to thank Irene for all her hard work and dedication to the families in our community as well as the continuous support she has given us within Martingrove and the EBA.

Your Lifetime Achievement Award is so well-deserved, Irene, and we salute you!
